Inspect for Optimimum Performance
NFPA 25 requires one Hydrant Inspection per year, and a Fall Inspection ensures that they have been pumped out properly so they won’t freeze.
However, hydrants can be difficult to spot in Winter which puts them at risk of damage from plows and vehicles. To ensure optimum performance, we recommend an Inspection in the Fall and the Spring.
Customers who choose Semi-Annual hydrant inspections like the fact that repair costs are spread over the year instead of just in the fall. We are also happy to discuss Pre-Approved Repair Amounts so we can perform repairs during the inspection. That saves us a trip and saves you money!
Optional Spring Inspection Benefits
- Identifies hydrants needing repairs from winter hazards
- Spreads repair costs across the year
- Pre-Approved Repair Amounts can save you money
