    We are hiring a contract Service Coordinator/Scheduler for our Mississauga, ON branch!

    Nature & Scope

    • Prime objective is to assist Sprinkler Division with administrative tasks associated with the day-to-day operation of the branch
    • Coordination of inspections, repairs, and renovations while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in schedules of field staff.
    • Preparing, processing and tracking work orders and associated invoices
    • Processing and tracking local purchases, and ensuring associated documentation are forwarded to the appropriate personnel
    • Checking staff expense claims and submitting to head office
    • Responsible for keeping branch records for expenses and updating them accordingly

The Junior Fire Alarm Technician position is to provide a training environment for the development of technicians as they work toward attaining their full CFAA certification.

    Nature & Scope·

    • Take direction from the on-site Fire Alarm Service Representative, supervisors, coordinators, and/or support staff as defined by company policy
    • Perform duties of maintenance and inspections on fire alarm, fire extinguisher and emergency lighting systems where qualified to do so.

    Our team is currently looking for a Preventive Maintenance Technician (II) to join their Kelowna, BC team. In this role, the successful candidate will be accountable for performing limited types of service work and will be required to assist on major projects, under the supervision and assistance from a Troy Certified Service Technician.

    NATURE AND SCOPE:

    • Perform PMA, verifications, repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, training and related duties as directed on all systems excluding the programming and verification of 4010 (networked),4100 systems, and all 4010 and larger networked systems
    • Operate a laptop computer and download software to small microprocessor-based systems
    • Make programming changes (excluding 4010 (networked),4100 systems, and all 4010 and larger networked systems)
    • Perform other areas of work as required, i.e. emergency lighting, extinguishers, renovation, etc.
    • Train entry level PMT service technicians and, where falling within the PMTII technician’s abilities, customers on the job site as requested
    • Assist in other areas as assigned

    Employees who are electricians may perform work that would normally be subcontracted to an electrician provided they are not expected to do work for which they cannot obtain a permit

     QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma
    • Two (2) year community college graduate in electronics, and/or equivalent work experience
    • Good communication skills
    • Good computer skills

    We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our Marine Division. Our Marine Service Technicians are responsible for installing, verifying, inspecting, servicing, and modifying fixed fire protection systems while ensuring compliance to codes and standards in accordance with customer’s contract.

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete annual fire alarm inspections, repairs, verifications and installations
    • Perform inspections of portable equipment including fire extinguishers, SCBA equipment and other life safety items as per local codes and standards
    • Inspect, hydrostatic test and recharge of cylinders from fixed systems, air cylinders and portable fire extinguishers
    • Maintain equipment in accordance with TC guidelines and ISO procedures
    • Prepare inspection, verification and deficiency reports required by standards and codes
    • Receive inventory, pick parts orders, package and deliver to our customers as required
    • Responsible to keep inventory organized and notify of stock order requirements
    • Develop and maintain high caliber relationships with clients, to ensure their full satisfaction in doing business with our company
    • Be available for emergency after hours service
    • Maintain knowledge of codes and standards

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or Degree in Fire Protection would be an asset
    • Previous experience working with Fire Suppression systems
    • Marine/Offshore experience an asset, working on board ships and off shore
    • Certification and Strong knowledge of NFPA10 & TDG standards
    • Valid drivers license with clean abstract and willing to travel
    • CFAA certification would be considered an asset but not required
    • Previous Marine Industry experience considered an asset
    • Previous experience with installations is preferred but not required.
    • Minimum high school diploma

    Nature & Scope

    • Responsible for receiving material in our ERP system.
    • Review and streamline the effectiveness of product delivery to our customers, and direct sales and service branches.
    • Responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity.
    • Work closely with existing warehouse team to order, stock, and deliver products as required.
    • Responsible for placement of PO’s for non-stock urgent materials, and work directly with the procurement team to help ensure the timely procurement of fire protection products in proper quantities according to marketing forecasts and field demand.
    • Work in conjunction with Inventory Sourcing Manager to conduct periodic and annual inventory cycle counts and reconciliation.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

    Responsibilities
