    Our Barrie branch is looking for an experienced Sprinkler Service Manager to join their team! In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing the day-to-day management of the branch Sprinkler Service Operations in the Barrie branch.

    The Sprinkler Service Manager will be responsible for performing the following duties:

    • Provide technical management of the branch sprinkler service operations.
    • Complete managerial duties relating to sprinkler system sales, project management of quoted service work, as well as deficiencies and spin-offs from inspection accounts.
    • Ensure sprinkler division staff are adhering to company policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
    • Knowledge of electronic purchasing and inventory control software
    • Solid understanding of the principles and processes for Supply Chain Management

    • Product knowledge of fire protection products
    • Must hold a valid driver’s license
    • Forklift certification would be an asset; or ability to obtain one.

    Qualifications

    Our Thunder Bay, Ontario branch is currently looking for an experienced Red Seal Journeyperson/Sprinkler Fitter to join their team! The successful candidate will install, verify, inspect, service and modify sprinkler fire protection systems, ensuring compliance to codes and standards and in accordance with customer’s contract. (Wet/Dry Sprinkler Systems, CO2, Water Mist, Wet and Dry Chemical).

    Job Tasks

    • Service – Wet, dry, pre-action systems, small renovations that require modifications. Trouble shoot systems that are not in proper operation. Make applicable repairs
    • Contracts – Install new systems in both retro and new builds. Coordinate with onsite trades, track and order material, follow track and report on safety procedures
    • Inspection – Inspect, test all applicable systems (fire pumps, hydrants, different alarm valves and devices
    • Maintain knowledge of codes and standards

    Qualifications

    • Certification as a Fire Protection Technician (specifically, Sprinkler/Standpipe System)
    • Red Seal Journeyperson Sprinkler Fitter preferred
    • Position is a unionized position
    • Valid drivers license with clean abstract
