    Our Calgary, AB branch is looking for an enthusiastic Service Coordinator/Scheduler to join their team! The successful candidate will report to the Fire Protection Manager and assist with all administrative tasks associated with the day-to-day operation of the branch.

     

    Nature & Scope

    • Coordination of inspections, repairs, and renovations while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in schedules of field staff will be the main focus.
    • Processing and tracking work orders and associated invoices

    Get into the Skilled Trades!! We are looking for someone who is interested in joining our team as a Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice in Langley, BC! The successful candidate will be required to join the Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program with Local 170 of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters. In this program you will learn how to install, verify, inspect, service and modify sprinkler fire protection systems, ensuring compliance to codes and standards and in accordance with customer’s contract. (Wet/Dry Sprinkler Systems, CO2, Water Mist, Wet and Dry Chemical). Candidates who are currently enrolled in this Apprenticeship program as encouraged to apply!

    Job Tasks

    • Service – Wet, dry, pre-action systems, small renovations that require modifications. Trouble shoot systems that are not in proper operation. Make applicable repairs.
    • Contracts – Install new systems in both retro and new builds. Coordinate with onsite trades, track and order material, follow track and report on safety procedures.
    • Inspection – Inspect, test all applicable systems (fire pumps, hydrants, different alarm valves and devices
