The Fire Service Supervisor will be responsible for performing the following duties:
- Train team members on verifications, PMA, Troubleshooting and Repair on all types of systems and products
- Provide technical support and training for system renovations and other technicial duties as required
- Support Technicians on call
- Assist with ASTT and/or CFAA criteria for technician certification
- Assist fire technicians with company EHS requirements and keep current with all applicable legislated codes and standards
- Daily work direction and disciplinary supervision of technicians and assist with ASTT and/or CFAA criteria for technician certification
- Assisting our local sales team in the sales of fire product and service (completing quotations or attending site visits to provide technical input)
- Ensuring Fire Alarm Service Representatives are trained on proper procedures involved in performing verifications, test and inspections, PMA's, miscellaneous service, renovations, warranty in compliance with Troy Standards
Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- CFAA and/or ASTTBC certification
- College Diploma in Electronics or equivalent related job experience
- 5 years experience as a Senior Fire Alarm Service Technician, Service Group Leader or equivalent
- Demonstrated leadership abilities/skills
- Must have working knowledge of a variety of fire alarm systems
- Experience with programming and verification on any type of fire alarm system would be an asset
- Must possess a valid driver's licence as the successful candidate will be provided with a company leased vehicle
- Proficiency with use of computers and excellent communication skills required
- Experience running large projects would be an asset
- Experience with quoting would be an asset
Salary Range: $92,000 - $94,000 annually
