  • Kelowna, British Columbia | Administration | In the Office |

    Our Kelowna, BC branch is hiring a Fire Service Supervisor to our team! This position is accountable for training, assisting, and assessing the fire technicians as directed by the Fire Detection Manager.

    The Fire Service Supervisor will be responsible for performing the following duties:

    • Train team members on verifications, PMA, Troubleshooting and Repair on all types of systems and products
    • Provide technical support and training for system renovations and other technicial duties as required
    • Support Technicians on call
    • Assist with ASTT and/or CFAA criteria for technician certification
    • Assist fire technicians with company EHS requirements and keep current with all applicable legislated codes and standards
    • Daily work direction and disciplinary supervision of technicians and assist with ASTT and/or CFAA criteria for technician certification
    • Assisting our local sales team in the sales of fire product and service (completing quotations or attending site visits to provide technical input)

    Experience & Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have:

    • CFAA and/or ASTTBC certification
    • College Diploma in Electronics or equivalent related job experience
    • 5 years experience as a Senior Fire Alarm Service Technician, Service Group Leader or equivalent
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities/skills
    • Must have working knowledge of a variety of fire alarm systems
    • Experience with programming and verification on any type of fire alarm system would be an asset
    • Must possess a valid driver's licence as the successful candidate will be provided with a company leased vehicle
    • Proficiency with use of computers and excellent communication skills required
    • Experience running large projects would be an asset

    Salary Range: $92,000 - $94,000 annually

    We are hiring for a Marine and Special Suppression Manager serving Western Canada from our Victoria, BC branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales, technical support, specialized training and coordination of marine / special hazard service jobs and personnel.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the sales of marine and special hazard fire systems service including testing, inspections, deficiencies, maintenance, and installations.

We are hiring a Service Coordinator to join our Sprinkler Service team! In this role the successful candidate will assist the Fire Protection Manager with all administrative tasks associated with the day-to-day operation of the branch.
