As our Fire Alarm Service Representative, you will be required to perform duties of maintenance, inspections and repairs on fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting systems and other life safety systems as required.

    Responsibilities

    • The successful candidate will ensure that the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction are met
    • Perform verifications on fire alarm systems

    Our Calgary team is currently looking for an Extinguisher Technician to join their branch! In this role, the successful candidate will be maintaining fire extinguishers and providing support in other fire safety related services as required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide on-site annual and preventive services to national customers.

    Nature & Scope

    We are hiring a Contract Analyst to join our team! Although the preferred candidate would be located in Owen Sound working a hybrid schedule, we would be open to applications from candidates living in Southern Ontario.

    Our Contract Analyst and Compliance Officer is responsible for providing support to all areas of our business in respect of contract review, management and compliance. As part of our national contract management process, the duties for this position will include:

    • Participating in review and guidance of individual tenders and RFP’s.
    • Identifying and providing project managers with proposed variances, where necessary, to submit with their bids at tender stage; limiting risk to the company.
    • Ensuring terms set at time of bid are incorporated and consistent with the awarded Contract(s). Negotiate and resolve as necessary.
    • Reviewing Owner/Customer purchase orders and contracts for services; negotiating, amending and adding supplementary conditions as may be necessary for contract finalization.
    • Preparing of subcontractor agreements meeting terms of the Prime Contract as required.
    • Review of Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure Agreements and Letters of Intent.

    • Ensuring compliance with company mandates and signing authorizations.

    This position is accountable for inspection, repair, installation, verification, modification, and troubleshooting life safety systems for customers on behalf of the Company. Employees who are electricians may perform work that would normally be sub-contracted to an electrician provided they are not expected to do work for which they cannot obtain a permit.

    The Troy Certified Service Technician (TCST) must be able to provide training to Preventive Maintenance Technicians (PMT and PMTII) as required.

    NATURE AND SCOPE:

    • Perform system verifications on all size projects.
    • Perform inspections and troubleshooting on all life safety systems.
    • Perform and assist in the preparation of system modifications.
    • Keep current through Company training with all applicable legislated codes and standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma
    • Two (2) year community college graduate in electronics, and/or journey level electrician, and/or four (4) years equivalent work experience
    • Good communication skills

    Our team is currently looking for a Preventive Maintenance Technician (II) to join their Nanaimo, BC team. In this role, the successful candidate will be accountable for performing limited types of service work and will be required to assist on major projects, under the supervision and assistance from a Troy Certified Service Technician.

    NATURE AND SCOPE:

    • Perform PMA, verifications, repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, training and related duties as directed on all systems excluding the programming and verification of 4010 (networked),4100 systems, and all 4010 and larger networked systems

    • Operate a laptop computer and download software to small microprocessor-based systems

    • Make programming changes (excluding 4010 (networked),4100 systems, and all 4010 and larger networked systems)

    • Perform other areas of work as required, i.e. emergency lighting, extinguishers, renovation, etc.

    • Train entry level PMT service technicians and, where falling within the PMTII technician’s abilities, customers on the job site as requested

    • Assist in other areas as assigned
